Nicole Osmer

Nicole works closely with companies and their customers to highlight innovation and leadership in the field of healthcare. Her targeted public relations and social media programs have brought life-transforming technologies to the forefront for millions of Americans for healthcare innovators like Abbott, Medtronic, Ardian, Nevro, Intersect ENT, NeoTract, CardioDx, CardioKinetix, HeartFlow, and Outset Medical. Prior to founding Health+Commerce, Nicole managed external communications for Guidant’s stent and cardiac surgery divisions where she played a key role in strategic planning and communications. She is a founding member of MedtechWomen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to highlighting medtech women leaders and was named a 2015 PR Executive of the Year by the Business Intelligence Group.

Jennifer Beedon

Jennifer Beedon leads the Marketing practice for Health+Commerce and is responsible for new business development, account management, and identifying strategic opportunities for the company’s growth. A healthcare executive and creative thinker with 20 years of operational, consulting and general management experience, Jennifer has worked with Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurs alike to develop marketing strategies, evaluate business opportunities, and create winning teams. Prior to joining Health+Commerce, Jennifer ran her own marketing consulting business and has held international and domestic leadership roles in marketing, business development and manufacturing operations at Guidant Corporation (now Abbott) and 3M. Jennifer is a founding member of MedtechWomen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to highlighting women leaders in healthcare.

Krysta Pellegrino

Krysta Pellegrino joined Health+Commerce with 17 years of healthcare communications experience for medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical companies. She leads the agency’s public relations practice, and is responsible for overseeing client communications programs as well as mentoring and training the company’s employees and consultants. Prior to joining Health+Commerce, Krysta was director of Global Public Affairs at Abbott, where she led all communications initiatives for the vision business including media relations, social media strategy, executive communications and issues management. Prior to Abbott, Krysta led external public relations for Genentech’s cancer and ophthalmology businesses for nine years. Krysta has served as the president of the San Francisco Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and has won numerous awards in recognition for her work.

Aimee Corso

Aimee has more than 25 years experience building brands and storytelling campaigns for companies like AbbVie, Amgen, Boston Scientific, Edwards Lifesciences, Medtronic, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson. She has held senior positions at WE Communications, WCG and FischerHealth/Porter Novelli where she was a partner and practice leader for Medical Devices & Diagnostics - an industry first. As VP of Marketing and Strategic Planning at St. Vincent Medical Center, she was responsible for marketing communications, internal and community relations, service line management, and physician partnership to develop new clinical programs. Aimee also sits on the Board of Directors of the Beyond Celiac patient advocacy association.

Jessica Volchok

Jessica started her career on the frontlines of a busy hospital-based orthopedic practice. Now with more than 15 years’ experience in public relations and marketing, Jessica supports clients of all sizes with strategic planning, media relations, advocacy relations, patient and celebrity engagement, and event management. Previously, Jessica was a senior manager and client strategist at WCG, where she worked with Medtronic, Boston Scientific, iRhythm Technologies, Volcano Corporation, and ZS Pharma among others. Previously, Jessica was a senior executive at FischerHealth, a subsidiary of Porter Novelli, where she was responsible for client management, planning and implementation of public relations programs for clients including Guidant, Edwards Lifesciences, Thoratec, Ophthonix, and Kyphon.

Amy Cramer

Amy has more than 15 years of communications experience working with dynamic clients from consumer technology startups to large multinational retail corporations and missiondriven nonprofits such as WalmartLabs, CA Academy of Sciences, L’Wren Scott, Vascular Cures, GoodRx, GymGroups, and BeFunky. At Health+Commerce she supports our clients with strategic communications, messaging, positioning and content development. Amy began her career working in the U.S. Senate and later the nonprofit sector where she managed communications for one of the largest and most politically charged cultural projects to date in San Francisco’s history: the $500 million rebuilding of the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

Reece MacDonald

Reece’s career began in investment research at ABR Investment Strategy, a boutique firm focused on healthcare and technology. As an account manager Reece provided research analytics and trading strategies to mutual and hedge fund managers at Fidelity, Putnam, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Alpha One Capital, and The Boston Company. His broad analytical background in healthcare, technology, and renewable energy allows him to offer our clients unique perspectives on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and insight-based communications campaigns. Most recently, Reece was a senior analyst in the Global Asset Management organization of SunEdison where he was responsible for research and corporate due-diligence for the company’s operating businesses and for potential corporate acquisitions.

Sierra Smith

Sierra's responsibilities include research, media monitoring, social media strategy development, media coverage reports and project management. She graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies.

Kate Boes

Kate Boes is a healthcare public relations pro with expertise in a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology/hematology, cardiology, dermatology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, orthopaedics, women's health, and nutrition. She specializes in all aspects of communications programs including developing effective communications plans for FDA approvals and new product launches, company and therapy messaging and positioning, media relations, disease awareness/consumer education, and advocacy relations.

Michael Quinn

Michael has over 10 years of experience in marketing and has helped dozens of businesses create predictable systems through online marketing. His expertise includes using Facebook advertising, search engine marketing, and Google pay-per-click (PPC). Michael's career began in television advertising, and he eventually transitioned to general marketing consulting in the health care, financial services and real estate industries. His passion for helping business achieve measurable and cost-effective results drives his focus on the exciting and ever-changing online marketing landscape.

Nichole Rozendaal

Nichole joined Health+Commerce with nearly 10 years of public relations experience in the medical and consumer health spaces. Her career began at a large agency, where she focused on media relations for large national brands such as, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, and StubHub’s sports sector. She then transitioned to freelance work, helping local and national clients develop creative and engaging media relations, marketing and social media plans. Most recently, Nichole served as director of public relations for an integrated marketing firm specializing in local medical practices. She led a team that developed, coordinated, and promoted community engagement events and programs in markets across the country.

Karen Serpa

Karen is an Account Manager with more than 10 years experience working for large international firms and small local businesses as well as government and non-profits, including the California State Senate election, the SPCA, Santa Rosa Parks Foundation, The Special Olympics, and PAWS. Prior to joining Health+Commerce, Karen managed day-to-day marketing operations for several medical practices across the nation. With an MA in English Literature and a love of design, she is an impassioned storyteller and brand developer that enjoys weaving words with graphics. She’s a digital media guru and comes to Health+Commerce enthusiastic about expanding clients’ global reach and making their stories come to life.
